Reactive Power Compensation & Power Quality
An area of long-standing technical depth within Argen Group. Poor power factor and harmonic distortion cost plants money in reactive energy billing, transformer capacity and equipment life. We size and supply the correction.
Low voltage range
Fixed capacitor banks with integrated circuit breaker protection, 10–175 kVAr, 400 V networks
Automatic capacitor banks with electromechanical contactor switching, controlled by an integrated power factor controller
Automatic capacitor banks with solid-state (thyristor) switching, for installations with fast load cycles or voltage-sensitive equipment — response time under 50 milliseconds, no contact wear, suitable for welding plants, robotics and drive systems
